Brad's Arrests, Carrying A Gun, Assault Officer Etc, Why? posted by 2manymysteries In order to figure out what may have happened to Bradley Olsen, it may be helpful to look at his Police record.
It appears Bradley has had some run ins with the Law over a period of time, such as - resisting arrest, illegal posession of a fire arm, assault involving a Police Officer etc.
Why did Bradley deem it necessary to carry a gun ?.
What was the assault involving a Police Officer all about ?
Why did he resist arrest at one time ?
What is there is Bradley's direct past we need to know about in order to find out what happened to him ?
Here is a copy of the charges against Bradley:
"Bradley Olsen has been arrested in DeKalb, Kendall and Kane counties for various misdemeanor and felony charges in the past 10 years. The charges include property damage, resisting arrest, illegal possession of a firearm, violating an order of protection, and aggravated assault of a police officer"

Parents Think Something Wrong When See Brad's Keys
Susan Olsen knew something was wrong the minute she and her husband returned home from Mexico Jan. 24 and saw their son’s car keys sitting on the table.
“We started calling his friends but no one had heard from him,†she said
Why would they come in the door, see Brad's Keys on the table, and think something is wrong?

Olsen’s friends had picked him up at the Maple Park home he shared with his parents on Jan. 19 for a night on the town. His friends left Bar One in DeKalb while Olsen stayed behind. At closing time, he called a friend for a ride home. The friend said he couldn’t pick him up, and that was the last anyone has heard from him.
The last anyone remembers seeing him was about 2 a.m. Jan. 20, when he was trying to find a ride home

here is some info re the infamous BAR ONE - Dekalb.
DeKALB - The West Lincoln Highway nightclub Bar One will close in April at the latest after a run of more than two years that included a string of liquor code violations and the arrest of two of its employees on felony charges.
Liquor Commissioner and Mayor Frank Van Buer signed off on an agreement Thursday that requires Bar One co-owner John Sanfilippo to transfer the establishment's Class A liquor license to a new owner or surrender it to the city by April 15.
Bar One also will pay $45,000 in fines and serve a 15-day suspension of its license immediately preceding its closing date after Sanfilippo decided not to dispute charges that employees created a fake surveillance video in an attempt to dupe police into thinking the nightclub hadn't allowed an underage person to get in.
The fines and suspension were especially hefty because at the time of the Oct. 24, 2004, incident, Bar One was in the midst of a two-year probation for previously violating city liquor ordinances, including hosting an underage party at the bar for Northern Illinois University football recruits in December 2003.
The start to Thursday's liquor hearing was delayed for about an hour as attorneys for the city and Bar One hashed out the terms of the settlement.
City Attorney Norma Guess said the bar did not formally admit guilt because of the pending criminal case against James Sanfilippo, 26, and Joey Sanfilippo, 30, John's sons and managers at Bar One. Police allege the two were behind the creation of the fake surveillance tape. Both have been charged with obstruction of justice in the incident, a Class 4 felony.
Despite the harsh penalty, DeKalb Police felt the city should have gone further.
“The department's point of view on this issue is that considering the seriousness of the problems at Bar One ... revocation of the license would be the appropriate penalty,†said Lt. Jim Kayes, who was at the hearing on behalf of Chief Bill Feithen.
Guess said that formally revoking the license likely would have left the Bar One building at 1000 W. Lincoln Highway empty for at least a year. State law prohibits liquor sales for one year from a site that has been subject to liquor license revocation.
“Bar One is being sold,†said the attorney for the nightclub, Dominic DiMaggio, in response to the police department's concerns. “The Sanfilippos will have absolutely nothing to do with the ownership of that bar anymore.â€
John Sanfilippo and his wife, Judy, bought Bar One - then called Amnesia - as well as Molly's Eatery and Drinkery and The Bottle Store liquor store in 2003 from Mike and Chris Carpenter.
Since then, Bar One has been penalized for hosting the NIU recruits party and allowing minors in the establishment, in addition to the charges heard Thursday.
It wasn't clear Thursday if the Sanfilippos would sell Molly's and The Bottle Store as well. A person who answered the phone at the liquor store Thursday afternoon said John Sanfilippo was there but would have no comment on whether the other two businesses would go up for sale.
Guess said Robert and Nancy Myers have already applied with the city for the Class A license now held by Bar One. She said she was prohibited by law from disclosing any other personal information about the couple that is contained on their application.
In the most recent case against Bar One, the city alleged that then-19-year-old Regina Chase was allowed to get into the club without showing an ID on Oct. 24, 2004. The city has alleged that after she was found there later in the evening and charged by DeKalb police, Joey and James Sanfilippo called her back to the club in the early morning hours of Oct. 25, after the nightclub was closed, and with her help created a fake surveillance video showing her presenting another person's ID to Bar One staff.
The bar then reportedly turned the video tape over to DeKalb police in an attempt to show it had carded the girl.
The city initially had delayed hearing the case until the Sanfilippo sons' criminal case was heard, but that case has moved slowly and Van Buer elected to proceed with the city's case. The Sanfilippo sons are scheduled to be in DeKalb County court on the felony charges on Feb. 8.
Thursday's hearing included a brief altercation between James Sanfilippo and local resident Bill Feldman, a frequent critic of local bars, the city's enforcement of liquor laws, the city council and the Chronicle's news coverage.
As Feldman was taking photos of the Sanfilippos in council chambers where the hearing was held, an angry James Sanfilippo stood up and reached for the camera, asking if Feldman was allowed to take the photos.
“Don't touch me,†replied Feldman, who kept the camera pointed at Sanfilippo.
A uniformed DeKalb police officer sitting behind the Sanfilippos said Feldman was allowed to take the photos and told James Sanfilippo to sit down.
