"There are news helicopters flying over the airport now. I won't make any mention on camera's, as it is an airport, however we have camera's on the doors. Maybe it would be a good idea to check them. I cannot make mention on anything involving security issues (cameras, pilots and who is leaving when) and I wouldn't want to say anything that could become an issue with the safety of me and the other people here so I won't mention anything about who does and doesn't leave the airport. I will say that it wouldn't be hard to fly out as a passenger and no-one know. Our hanger is staffed 24-7, but with it being cold out we close the hanger door to keep the bay warmer. There are alot of cars that drive behind the airport, but if your not looking for it, it could be missed. It's not unusual to have a car drive on the airport grounds, but they cannot get all the way around as we block the drive-thru area for civilian protection; we can't have someone driving in the area with the helicopter taking off at moments notice. "Just an update. He is not a pilot, he does he hold a pilots licence nor does he have an aircraft. He has a solo wings Aquilla, it's like a kite with a motor. I cannot believe the reports that were made about some security issues (camera's, logs etc...) on the news. "The airport is very small. It could be missed easily. Heck, when I tried to find it the first time I had to have a co-worker guide me in. Ha, but I'm bad at directions. Anyway, the airport is right next to heavily populated strip malls. It would be a great place to meet someone and not be seen by the public, if she were to have taken off with someone else. "I have known Stacy since she was 16. Her sister Tina (who passed away last year) was married to my brother. First off let me say that I can understand an outsider viewing the members of her family being interviewed might find them odd, trust me, that's just them. As i watched the interviews last night, I saw nothing unusual from these people I have known for 7 + years. Also, Stacys problems with her marrige go back before Tina passed last September. The kids in this family had it pretty darn hard throughout their young lives. But they were always very close to one another, and Stacy was kind of the "hub" for quite awhile. "Greta- When I was in high school we lived next door to the Petersons on Seminole Ln in Bolingbrook. At the time, Drew was a K-9 officer. Our dog, a shepherd and his dog used to run side by side along our back fences. This used to piss Drew off so bad, because it wore away the grass that he would beat his dog. It was not uncommon for my mother to be yelling at him from the back window to stop beating his dog. On one occasion his wife appeared in the front of the house crying and with a black eye. She had two teenage sons and they both were very quiet and kept to themselves. My father (also a cop) gave Drew permission to �watch� me and if he saw me on the streets or with my friends to send me home, which he did on only one occasion. He was then as you see him now on TV, Sunglasses, No smiling or reactions. Just stone cold. Subsequently, I went on to do my inernship with the Bolingbrook Police Dept. and became a Police Officer in Chicago. People knew this man was an abuser, but there is a Code when you are a cop to never tell on another cop. Police protect eachother. No one in my neighborhood, my parents included called the Police on Drew when he beat his wife or dog. Back then, you just kept quiet.
