Attached are some facts about Peterson case that you should take the time to read. It is a summary of the "chain" of events and what the village, pension board, and the village board can and cannot do. Until he is convicted of something, and he hasn't even been charged yet, the is little anyone can do.

The entire investigation is being conducted by the Illinois State Police as dictated by protocol when an officer is being investigated. They are being assisted by the FBI.

Kathy Savio's death was also investigated by the Illinois State Police and the death certificate was signed by the Will County Coroner.

Every attorney and police agency involved in this case has advised me not to comment on an on-going investigation by the FBI and Illinois State Police and I get my information the same way you do, from what they report to the papers.
