December 13, 2007 Ric Mims quits Peterson Charity ILL "On Wednesday night [12/12/2007], Mims quit the board of a newly established Stacy Peterson charity, he said. Sharon Bychowski, Peterson's next-door neighbor and Stacy's good friend, said she and fellow board members were furious about the National Enquirer article, which focused on Peterson's son Kris. The story quoted Mims saying Kris told Bychowski that on the day Stacy disappeared, he heard his parents fighting in their bedroom before "suddenly things got quiet." Bychowski disputed the account. She said she never talked to Kris about his parents fighting and was offended by the article, which she said "left Kris out to dry."

SHARON BYCHOWSKI: SP told me herself in the beginning of August about the shooting incident. We were cleaning out the garage and she showed me the bullet hole. She said that DP’s gun misfired. She was very angry with him and she told him that he could have hurt the children or her. I was in the garage when she pointed it out to me. She told me it was an accidental discharge and she was angry that it was very dangerous and he handled it inappropriately. The neighborhood is pretty much back to normal, but they are still doing interviews about the gun incident and the grand jury testimony.

"The photos and letter were turned over to the State Police. The evidence directed them to a small church cemetery in Indian Creek Park. Detectives went there today and found a fresh grave site that had almonds thrown on top of it. They also found binders and a typed diatribe where according to the cemetery caretaker the writer said God told them Stacy's body was here a source tells me. Investigators don't think this lead holds much promise. Peterson's attorney said his client has nothing to do with it and says this whole thing is probably the work of some lunatic. State police did interview another neighbor who also got a similar letter but they left without commenting and that neighbor did not answer when we knocked."

Well I am new to posting on this …. but I am sickened by the tour threw Stacy Peterson’s home — while she is lying some where dead and her poor children must now grow up with out her ……….. stacy worked so hard on that home ……. she loved family and told me so many time he want’s to kill me and if i dissapear it is not an accident …… he killed me well maybe the next tour greta could be the time line of Drew (not a chance ) or where is Stacy buried for dumped …..instead of everyone sucking up to drew …………..everyone show attend the fundraiser this weekend to find her …..

Now that we all know what his “fake for the camera day” looks like, I’ll tell you something! Right now he is out with Steve Carcerano at Tailgaters Bar in Bolingbrook drinking and picking up women, AGAIN. This happens at least 3 times a week. AND THE KIDS ARE HOME ALONE AGAIN!!!!!! Wow, he is Father of the year. This show tonight made me sick to my stomache. I will never speak again to those involved with this show.

"They're keeping track of where he goes, what he does and who he sees," said Joel Brodsky, Peterson's attorney. "They're also in the course of putting up [Find Stacy Peterson] signs along where he drives. . . . Then you put on top of that their own statements [that they] do these things to make his life miserable, that is a course of conduct designed to cause Drew substantial emotional distress." Brodsky handed over his information to the FBI. "We will review it in consultation with the U.S. attorney's office and determine if additional investigation is warranted," FBI spokesman Ross Rice said."

His client has been the target of ridicule and threats on blogs and online forums. At times when the news media attention is especially intense, Peterson gets as many as several death threats a week, Brodsky said. "It's a mob mentality that has run away, but there are laws that I assume will be enforced," Brodsky said. "The people who are responsible are not only the posters but the people who run the Web site and allow these postings to take place."
